This month, the founding members of Burberry’s Cultural Advisory Council embark on their second term and begin the next phase of the group's work.
Established in 2019, the Council is comprised of six experts and thought leaders from across geographies and industries who come together to discuss key issues, and challenges, sharing their insights around diversity, equity and inclusion.
As members begin a new term, they shared their reflections on the Council so far and their aspirations for the future in a special film captured during one of the Council’s sessions.
Erica Bourne, Chief People Officer, Burberry: “The Cultural Advisory Council has played a central role in supporting us on our D&I agenda, helping us develop an open and inclusive culture and drive meaningful change in our industry. We are hugely grateful to each member for sharing their breadth of expertise and experience with us, and I am delighted that they have all committed to the council for a second two-year term. There is still much more we can achieve together and we are really looking forward to continuing our partnership to create environments where everyone feels they belong.”
