Burberry today announces that Gianluca Flore has been appointed President Americas.
Gianluca joins Burberry after almost a decade at Kering Group, where he was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Brioni. He previously worked at Bottega Veneta, first as President Americas and later as Worldwide Retail and Wholesale Director and CEO of Asia Pacific. He has also worked at Fendi and La Perla as head of Americas.
In his new role, Gianluca will lead Burberry’s Americas business from New York. He will join the company on 5 July and report to Marco Gobbetti, who will become CEO on the same day.
Gianluca succeeds Donald Kohler, who has accepted a new opportunity and will leave the business on 1 July.
